Milestone Credit Union, formerly Birmingham Post Office Credit Union, was chartered in 1927. Although we have changed our name, we are the oldest credit union in the state of Alabama and will maintain the same tradition of excellence. We still serve the employees and families of the Alabama District of the United States Postal Service, but have expanded our charter to include anyone who lives, works, worships and does business in Jefferson County, AL; Blount County, AL; Cullman County, AL; Shelby County, AL; St Clair County, AL; Tuscaloosa County, AL; and Walker County, AL.
